leftovers app

This project is currently in development and slated to launch Q1 of 2025.

I found out one day that gift card issuing companies get back all the money not spent on their cards. This pissed me off. So, I devised a way to get that money back and use it to help fight hunger.

I wanted to create a way in which people could donate the leftover money on gift cards to help fight hunger.

No problems, really. 

approach / process / solutions

Honestly, I just designed it, prototyped it, and built it. I'm currently in the process of creating the business and move forward.

goals

I wanted to create an app allowing folks to manage the audio going to their headphones and independently adjust call and music volume and left/right balance.

problems

The biggest issue was how to tap into the native OS system settings and "hijack" them in order to manipulate them however you wish.

I just designed it and built it.

results

I'm in the process of launching the app.
